An open invitation from Silva Spiritus in Finlayson:

In the summer of 2026, choreographer and photographer Blake Nellis and a team of artists spent a week at Silvae Spiritus Northwoods Nature Retreat in Finlayson, Minnesota, exploring the intersection of visual art, movement, creativity, nature relation, and community.

Join us at Silvae Spiritus Northwoods Nature Retreat on November 15th, from 1-3 pm, where we will talk about the power of community, taking risks, and being rejuvenated by nature.  We will discuss the process of making art with the human body, how movement & play influence Nellis’ work, and the power of time spent together.
